Cara is a musician in the Greater Pittsburgh Area. Check out her bio, services provided, and demos to learn more about her.

Cara graduated in 2011 from Grove City College with a Bachelor’s Degree in Music, concentration in Flute. During her college years, she performed in many student recitals (the capstone being her Senior Recital, see below for Recital Repertoire), Orchestra, Wind Ensemble, Flute Choir, Flute Quartet, and Symphonic Band. After graduating, Cara began teaching private flute and piano lessons, which she currently teaches and averages 20 students.

Beginning in 2013, Cara began performing at local nursing homes in the Greater Pittsburgh Area . Now, she performs at 25-30  skilled nursing, assisted living, dementia care, and independent living facilities per month. Check out her Services Page to learn more about her performances at nursing homes.

She also freelances as a Wedding, Funeral, and Corporate/Special Events Musician and has played for events such as Art Shows, Anniversary Dinners, and Holiday Gatherings. 

Cara is also a substitute flute player for the Edgewood Symphony Orchestra.
She auditioned in August 2017 with Walter Morales (Director) and was accepted for the 2018-19 Season.

In 2017, Cara played the piano and flute for  Cornerstone Television Network' s Jubilee Worship Band for their Live Telethon Week and their Christmas Special.

Cara is a member of the Pittsburgh Musicians' Union (Local 60-471) and The National Flute Association.

She also holds ACT 33 & 34 Clearances (Child Abuse & Criminal History Record).
